Meet the teachers

Miss S Nolan

I started teaching at Weeton Primary School in September 2005.  I'm teaching our Reception class again this year.  The children are getting used to school life and all the routines of Class 1.

I'm the subject leader for English/Literacy and RE.

Miss A Russel

I teach Class 3 (Year 2).  I'm the subject leader for History, Geography and Music.

Miss J Graves  (picture coming soon!)

I'm teaching Year 1 this year.  We have a new classroom overlooking Woodland Walk.

Mrs A Gilyead

I teach part-time - two days a week   I'm also the subject leader for Science.

Mrs P Lomas

I teach Years 5 and 6 in Class 6.  I'm also the SENCO (which keeps me busy) and subject leader for PE (which keeps me fit!).  I've been teaching at Weeton since 1996 and really enjoy being part of the team.  I have some wonderful teaching assistants working alongside me in Class 6.

Mrs J Leech

I teach at Weeton Primary for two and a half days each week.  My job is varied because I cover SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) and management time.

I'm subject leader for art, so I'm very lucky because this is my favourite subject.  It is really rewarding to see all the children's work displayed around the school.

Mrs B Kirkham

I teach part-time at Weeton School - whenever I am needed!.  I was a full time member of staff at Weeton from 1995 until I retired at the end of 2004.  I just can't keep away!

I'm a keen gardener in my spare time.
