Easter Eggstravaganza!
With about 100 entries in the Decorated Egg Competition 2006, our two judges - Mrs Cooper and Colour Sgt Mawer - had an eggstremely difficult task in choosing the winners from each class.
Here are the winners from Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4:

Here's a fact: Mr Horrocks (Headteacher) taught ex-Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon, who played Del Dingle (winner of Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes as Lulu and runner up in Soapstars Superstars) in 1985-86 at Norbreck Primary School. Hayley was then just 9 years old. She went on to appear in a Norbreck School production of a musical called Dream Maker, directed by Mr Horrocks, at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool on 4th March 1987.
Later that year, in June, Mr Horrocks appeared in a production of Kes at the Grand Theatre. He played three roles: Mr Sugden (the PE teacher!), Mr Porter (a newsagent) and a man in a betting shop!
