Well done dads - we are so proud of you.

We were with you all the way!

On Thursday 22nd November 2007, two of our dads, presently serving in Afghanistan - carried out an amazing 24-hour non-stop physical challenge to raise money for our school and Honeypot Under Fives Centre.  Their gruelling challenge took place in a gym, where they used a Running Machine, an X-Trainer and a Staplo Bike.  And we were with them all the way, as we linked up via a web cam and took part in our own fitness sessions.

The children and staff of Weeton Primary and Honeypot joined in with this 24-hour challenge by taking part in 24 lots of 15-minute sessions of physical activities throughout the day (to cover for the 15-minute "comfort breaks" the dads were allowed to take each hour).  It sounds a bit complicated, but we had lots of fun, used up masses of energy and shed a few tears along the way as we saw our dads and sent messages to and fro.

Latest news: 6 webcams have kindly been donated by Currys and PC World so we can keep in touch with our dads.  A BIG thank you!
