Celebrating St George's Day
Our special assembly
On 23d April 2009, Classes 1 and 2 acted out the story of St George and the Dragon. We also celebrated the birthday of William Shakespeare, born 445 years ago in 1564. We ended our assembly with a joyful Land of Hope and Glory. Congratulations! The Band of the King's Division help us celebrate our Ofsted success: Nov 2008

"Teaching and learning are outstanding overall which is why pupils make good progress."
"Pupils thoroughly enjoy school. When asked what he liked best at school, one boy exclaimed, 'Everything!' "
"The quality of the curriculum is outstanding because it is constantly adapted to meet the changing needs of pupils."

To celebrate our successful inspection,
the whole school went to Blackpool Zoo for a day in January 2009.
